It is our mission to transport the students of the district to and from school and school-related events in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner. Everyone has a role and responsibility in the safety of our school transportation program. While the district is responsible for children once they board the bus, families are solely responsible for the safety and supervision of their children to and from the designated bus stop and while students wait for their bus. Parents/guardians of our youngest learners should take care to meet and receive their children at the bus stop. Children not met by their parents/guardians will be returned to their school building. Students are expected to abide by all conduct and safety rules while on school transportation.
All families need to complete a Transportation Application Form for students wishing to ride the school bus for the 2020-21 school year. Students will not be transported to and from school until this form has been completed, submitted, and eligibility for transportation has been verified.
In accordance with guidelines from Greene County Public Health (GCPH), the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the district will adhere to all COVID safety precautions on our buses. All drivers and students MUST wear a face mask while on the bus. Students will not be granted bus entry without wearing a face mask.
