Welcome to Yellow Springs Schools.

It is an honor to serve this district and community. Yellow Springs Schools is a place where learning is shaped by curiosity, relationships, and a deep belief in the potential of every student. That spirit is what makes this community so special, and it is what guides my work as superintendent.

My leadership is grounded in three enduring commitments. First, ensuring students are prepared for success in life by developing durable skills that help them adapt, think critically, and contribute meaningfully in a changing world. Second, creating learning experiences that are engaging, relevant, and experiential both inside and outside the classroom so students can connect their learning to the world through their passions and interests. And third, strengthening partnerships across our schools, families, and community so that every student is supported by a strong and connected network of care.

I believe schools thrive when people work together with trust, openness, shared purpose, and sometimes difficult conversations. Our students benefit most when educators feel supported, families feel engaged, and the broader community is actively connected to our work.

As superintendent, I am committed to listening, learning, and leading in collaboration with you. I look forward to continuing the important work of building a district where students are known, challenged, and inspired every day.
