The Communications Department at Yellow Springs Schools strives to share district information with the public in a timely, consistent, and transparent manner. It also serves as the communications center during emergencies and crises. Using all our communication tools to serve our stakeholders is an integral part of ensuring all students achieve their highest potential.

ParentSquare is a communications service that the Yellow Springs Schools uses to stay connected with families through voice calls, email, and text.

online calendars

Parents have the ability to add district, board of education, schools, and athletics calendar to their google or other virtual calendars. Instructions can be found at https://www.ysschools.org/adding-calendars.

crisis communication

The Yellow Springs Schools has a Crisis Communications Plan that provides guidelines and action steps used to prepare for an emergency or unexpected event. The comprehensive plan is for internal district use.

bulldog blitz podcast

The Bulldog Blitz Podcast gives us the opportunity to spotlight our students and staff and share project-based learning, which is at the heart of our instructional approach.
