Capital Campaign

VISION: With the steadfast support of our community, we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to transform our schools. While state funding covers the basics, it’s up to us to create spaces that reflect our values—a fully equipped auditorium to elevate the arts, outdoor classrooms that connect students to nature, and a gymnasium that fosters wellness, pride, and community.
These enhancements are more than buildings—they’re spaces that inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection, ensuring every student thrives.

A Worthwhile Investment

YSS has partnered with the Yellow Springs Community Foundation (YSCF) to serve as the fiscal steward of our capital campaign. With their expertise, donors can easily navigate the giving process and select a payment schedule over an 18-month period. All contributions are tax-deductible and will receive official gift receipts.
Donations may be made through direct cash gifts, appreciated stocks, bonds, personal assets, IRA RMDs, or real estate transfers—each offering potential tax benefits. Gifts can also be made in honor or memory of someone, to celebrate milestones, or recognized through naming opportunities per Board Policy 7250.
All gifts will be publicly acknowledged, with options for anonymity or lead giving. For more information, please contact Jeannamarie Cox.
