About Us
HISTORY
The Yellow Springs Exempted Village School District (Yellow Springs Schools) is a public school system located in the north-central portion of Greene County, Ohio.
Yellow Springs Schools serve approximately 700 students in grades K-12 at Mills Lawn Elementary (K-6), McKinney Middle School (7-8), and Yellow Springs High School (9-12).
MISSION
Our mission is to create a challenging educational environment where each student contributes to the intellectual and cultural richness of the community and is provided the skills and knowledge to become a socially responsible self-directed, life-long learner.
We invite you to view our Quality Profile, a companion document to the State Report Card. Our Quality profile goes beyond test scores and letter grades to provide parents and community members with information about how the district is progressing toward our strategic goals and meeting the needs of our students and families.
Yellow Springs Schools employees are committed to preparing our students to be future leaders of tomorrow.
Our district has approximately 50 talented employees who are grateful to coach, feed, transport, and teach our student body.
Our employees are offered the opportunity to grow professionally while remaining focused on what really matters...serving our students, families and the community.
