Class of 2021

Last Updated: 3/19/2021 7:37 PM

Our YSHS administrative team has been hard at work to come up with creative alternatives so that our 2021 Seniors can celebrate the milestones that typically take place at the end of the year. We’ll keep this website updated with information as it is finalized.

Senior Skating Paty on Saturday, April 3rd

Senior Skating Party

There will be a senior skating party on Saturday, April 3rd from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at YSHS.  We will provide pizza, drinks and skates.  Please come and enjoy an evening with your classmates!

This year's Junior & Senior Prom will be outside at the Wirrig Pavillion (on Meredith Road) on Saturday, May 15th from 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.  More details to come!

YSHS Class of 2021 Graduation Ceremony

We will kick the evening off with a parade through town that returns to our parking lot. We will then host our ceremony outdoors. More details to come!

HB 67 - There is legislation that is awaiting a final vote that loosens graduation requirements slightly for the class of 2021. We anticipate this passing soon. The most relevant part of this bill is the option for us to allow students to graduate based on the state minimum requirements rather than our local requirements. In short, this passing would waive the requirement for a senior project and 45 hours of community service. If this passes, I will communicate the details at that time.
